For this second stay in Mongolia, I travelled alone but not really alone ... because Eagle’s Flight, my friend the drum came with me.
📷
I wanted to live as close as possible to the Mongols. So it was with great happiness that I found myself in full immersion in a Mongolian family. In the mishmash of the meaning "family" in Mongolian: parents, sisters, brothers, aunt, stepmother, girlfriend, grandfather, teenagers, a multitude of small children.... joined by neighbours, acquaintances, encounters along the way..
📷
To admire the preparation of traditional dishes;
salted milk tea:

khuushuur (ravioli stuffed with meat and fried) :

A very special trip because I often changed my guide. I never knew in advance who would guide me the next day or even sometimes at the last minute. In fact, an authentic Mongolian trip.
📷
So I set off on the paths of Mongolia, with some basics of English
(distant notions of my high school years ...)
only a tourist but always surrounded by several members of the family
(up to a dozen) who discovered, at the same time as Me,
the wonders of Mongolia.
Some of them had blurred notions of English, none of French,
leaving a nice place for gesture communication, laughter, energy communication and especially that of hearts.
They organized all for Me, I allowed myself to live like them,
at their slow pace, without planning the future.
Frequent program changes allowed the letting go.
Visiting amazing sites...
The statue of Genghis Khan
📷
The site of Gorkhi Terelj with impressive rocks such as that of the turtle
📷
Shamballa, sacred site, energy heart of Mongolia
📷
and presence at the great Feast of Nadaam.
📷
A lot of time spent on meditation, with Eagle's Flight,
in magical and energetic places:
On the top of the mountains in front of the ovoo overlooking the valleys,
📷
by the rivers, near the herds of horses that come to refresh themself,
📷
in front of Buddhist temples,
📷
In the desert on sacred sites
📷
in the yurt at the corner of the stove, during the storm,
birch or larch forests.
📷
Always with the good humour of the Mongols, their human warmth and their humour. Beautiful sharing, rich in laughter and emotions.
📷
Sometimes in ancient traditional yurts,
📷
sometimes in the modern yurts of tourist camps,
sometimes in the tent in a wild camping in the heart of the vastness…
📷
or on the night train to reach the desert.
Improvised campfires anywhere with a few stones,
to prepare the salted milk tea of breakfast, the soup of noodles of lunch
or the sheep of dinner cooked with stones in the traditional wok.
Looking for small woods in the forest,
yak dung or horse dung in the steppe to fuel the fire.
📷
Picking strawberries from the woods at the top of the mountain,
river water for cooking, dishes or toileting...
Back to the original values of life in nature.
Wonderful country where time does not exist,
where I let myself be carried to the wind, under the blue sky,
with the warmth of the sun.
I feel a strong link between us, a powerful energy.
I let life flow in Me, it brought me surprise in surprise, magic of encounters, power of the energy of Mother Earth, connection with nature, trees, animals ... re-connection with myself.
Magical moment: my encounter with an eagle...
